A Bit About Me
Hello,
My name is Destinee Matthews, and I am a self-taught Graphic designer, marketing and promotions manager, e-commerce, and UI/UI manager from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been taking classes from 15-19 (high school and college) in digital literacy classes. I have been educating myself since I was 18 years old in different types of graphic design, mostly advertising and marketing..

What got me into Graphic designing, UI/UX more specifically, was me creating my own business and needing a website where I can sell my product. At the time, I didn't have the funds to pay anyone to create a website or advertisements for me, so I downloaded Wix and a bunch of editing apps. Then, created my own website and my own visuals for my business. Years following that, I created flyers and event invitations for local entrepreneurs. I also started to create a website for my college Central State University, so that students can better communicate and make friends.

Even though I am self taught, I make sure to show how much work I put into my creative projects. I take this talent serious, and you can see it in my work.

Making flyers on my own and educating myself on Gestalt theory, Basic Design Theory, principles of design, and through Cousera classes with Google. Helps edit sites, as well as, helps help local entrepreneurs with advertising. Editing videos on TikTok.
Creating websites for my school and my business at this time. Self-taught.
Started to use Canva to market my businesses and others entrepreneurs.
Studying digital literacy, coding, and how to make/edit Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Started to educate myself on Canva, Capcut, and other editing tools/devices.
Also, creating websites and making them appealing to the viewers eye.
